Here are the job details:
***THIS IS A LIMITED-TERM POSITION FOR UP TO 5 YEARS*** Works as a member of the information architecture team, defining requirements and designing the user interface for complex web applications and sites. Assist in interviewing clients and potential users to define needs and requirements for Church Web sites. Assist in creating scope documents, user stories, site maps, and wire frame in instructional designs to define content pages and interactive site features. Work closely with graphic designers and web developers to design the user interface and user experience. Be prepared to show examples of design documents you have created for web application development projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in instructional design or equivalent field of study
3+ years professional experience designing web applications years of
3+ professional experience designing user interfaces for the web
Strong understanding of the Internet and Web technologies Ability to organize complex information into logical categories Ability to work with clients and help them define goals and needs for a project
Good communication skills
Ability to work with sensitive information and keep confidences Ability to work with little supervision Team player Web development experience is a plus, but not required Graphic design experience a plus, but not required
