Sr IA position, Starwood Hotels and Resorts

One of the world's leading hospitality companies, based in White Plains, NY is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Information Architect to join the Interactive Marketing team for a full time position, working on major website development.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
* Employ user-centered design processes to ensure that
information is useful and usable
* Define and document site navigation, process flows, page
level interactions and functionalities.
* Document, maintain and revise functional documentation.
Qualifications:
* A degree in a related field, such as technical
communications, human-computer interaction, human factors or library science.
* Experience observing user research and translating user
research into design decisions.
* At least 2-3 years experience in developing digital products
from the IA perspective, and 3-6 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: creative/graphic design, production/planning or front end development. Experience in e-commerce, and financial services, pharmaceuticals/sciences or insurance industry a plus.
* Facility with prototyping and wireframe documentation
programs (Visio, Photoshop) required.
* Past interactive agency experience strongly preferred.
