As an Accessibility Expert you will be the lead UI designer responsible = for establishing standards to ensure products are compliant with = government policies and industry conventions regarding software = accessibility.
You will develop checklists and metrics to quantify compliance with = accessibility standards and perform product accessibility evaluations. = Successful candidates will develop plans to educate development teams in = accessibility design and User-Centered Design principles.=20
The qualified candidate must have 5+ years experience in UI design. = Expert knowledge in accessibility design principles is a must. Expert = knowledge in third party tool, adaptive technology, W3C Web = Accessibility Initiatives and UI design implications derived from = legislative and governmental regulations. Proficiency in usability = testing and methodologies is preferred. Expert knowledge in Window OS, = HTML, JavaScript, Java and graphic and prototyping tools.
