CHAIR IN LEARNING SCIENCES, University of Nottingham, UK
This new Chair is an important strategic development for the future of the Learning Sciences Research Institute (LSRI), a major inter-school institute founded by the Schools of Education, Psychology and Computer Science and Information Technology at Nottingham. The successful candidate will have established an international reputation in the field of human learning. They will consolidate the University's aspirations to be at the leading edge of the learning field, nationally and internationally. The Chair will also strengthen research leadership, expanding the extent of educationally relevant research within LSRI, and working with senior colleagues, exploit the growing opportunities for international partnerships and interdisciplinary research, building on and developing the current complement.
This Chair is a unique opportunity suitable for an experienced individual who can offer a high degree of commitment and enthusiasm, as well as bringing an active research portfolio to Nottingham.
