Contract and Permanent IA Roles, London, UK

We are a UK based consultancy specialising in web-based business applications. We have a strategic partnership with SBI Group to serve clients based in the USA, and are part of the Framfab Group, headquartered in Sweden. Framfab is the leading European specialist in digital media solutions, with operations in Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. We work with a range of blue-chip clients in industries from investment banking to manufacturing to CPG.
We have a number of roles open on upcoming projects for talented Information Architects at all levels who enjoy both consulting and design. While we will fill some as contract roles, the right candidates will be considered for permanent employee.
We look for the standard skills of a good Information Architects. For the current projects, we are especially interested in the following skills or experience (not all in the same person!):
· Prototyping (in both paper and HTML)
· Application UI design
· Designing for CMS tools and templates (package, rather than in-house)
· Image libraries (tagging, searching, etc)
· Training and technical writing
· User research, contextual inquiry, or ethnography
Some of these roles will require significant travel (the user research roles especially), but others will be largely based in our Waterloo offices. Some of the roles are needed immediately, others we can be patient for the right person.
