Job Description
The Designory Inc. is a strategic marketing communications firm located in Long Beach, California that utilizes both offline and online design in a creative approach to brand building for our clients. The company has been in business for over 30 years and is growing all the time. We are looking for an Information Architect for ongoing projects.

The IA will work with Strategy, Creative, and Engineering teams to identify and define project scope and requirements. Will also translate strategy and requirements into high-level designs, architecture, wireframes and functional specifications.

Job Responsibilities:
-Define and design site architectures, wireframes and detailed process flows -Develop task flows and user personas based on research and business requirements -Usability testing preparation -Participate and lead heuristic reviews of web sites or design artifacts -Perform competitive and gap analyses

Requirements:
-3+ years working as an information architect or interaction designer
including experience designing organization schemes, navigation, and search for large, complex website applications -Solid understanding of user-centered design processes -Excellent written and verbal communications skills -Proficient in established software tools: Word, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Powerpoint, Visio -Able to work independently and as part of a team -Understanding of HTML, DHTML, Javascript and Content Management Systems

** Automotive experience a plus **
