Position: Information Architect/Interaction Designer (2-4 yrs)
Location: Chicago, IL USA
Description: Leading professional services firm is looking for a junior to mid level information architect / interaction designer for its Chicago office. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to contribute immediately in the creation of award winning solutions and continue growing his or her skills as part of an industry leading group.
Requirements:
* Strong basic information architecture and interaction design skills.
* Exposure to user research and/or usability testing and a desire to learn more about these.
* Experience working with highly interactive systems (e.g., flash-based, Rich Internet Apps) or transactional systems (e.g., eCommerce, travel).
* Experience creating scenarios, work or task flows, site maps, and wireframes. Use cases a plus!
* Works well in a team environment and can take direction from Senior IA/ID or Creative Lead.
* Some experience interacting with clients
* Prefer someone who works with a design focus (explore many options and narrow) rather than an engineering focus (gather reqs, create one solution).
* Retail, financial services, and/or consumer packaged goods experience a plus.
