The CRM Service applications group develops powerful customer service
and service management applications as part of the Oracle E-Business
Suite. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Product
Management Team.
Partner as a senior member of a team that acts as the central
resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing,
test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from
conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities
ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within
budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will define
product requirements and or strategy. Gather and analyze information
to define product requirements and review design specifications.
Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster
relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and
collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate
priorities.
SKILLS
Since the position has exposure to customers, development teams
across the E-Business Suite, executives and marketing, strong
communication is indispensable. Apart from communication skills, we
desire individuals who can analyze our customer needs, markets, and
competitors to drive new User Interface requirements. They should
always strive for excellence and have passion for the pains in the
business.
BACKGROUND
BA/BS required, Advance Degree or MBA preferred
Experience designing User Interfaces is required
Call centers and/or service business experience is plus
Strong communication since the position has exposure to customers,
field, and management
Analyze requirements and data from customers and the market
Clear and detailed documentation
Functional experts with strong leadership capabilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a UI Designer, you will work closely with other product managers
and development teams to drive the UI design for the entire Service
suite of applications. You will be responsible for the look-and-feel,
information flow, and visual design for Service. You will be
responsible for making the designs usable and useful. You will create
UI designs, build prototypes, and work closely with our engineers to
implement the designs.
