Position: Senior Voice User Interface Designer
Location: Los Altos, Ca.
TuVox is a rapidly growing, leading-edge developer of speech self service technology for call centers. We're looking for a Senior Voice User Interface Designer to design voice user interfaces for conversational speech applications.
Responsibilities:
Define and implement industry best practices in VUI design, recording and testing. Serve as the Voice User Interface Lead on TuVox implementation projects.
Specific tasks will include:
o Gather and analyze caller and business requirements to design
successful voice applications
o Create application specifications and Voice User Interface
requirements documents
o Develop call flow, dialogs, and prompts to accomplish business and
caller satisfaction goals stated in the requirements documents o Set industry standards, style guides and implementation
methodologies
o Assist our content and dialogue developers during the application
development phase
o Coordinate and brief internal and external voice talents o Establish best practices for usability testing including the
management of process and usability test analysis o Analyze speech applications for performance and compliance to
business and caller satisfaction goals
The ideal candidate must have the following:
o 4+ Years industry experience in voice user interface design or
equivalent experience product interface design and/or linguistics o Professional writing and prompt design experience o Native-level English fluency o Experience with usability testing o Ability to travel o Experience working closely with customers, partners and speech
application developers
o Strong Microsoft Windows skills, including MS Office, Visio, Cool
Edit/Adobe Audition or equivalent audio processing tools, Apple
and/or Linux user experience a plus.
