Arrangement: 6 to 12 month initial term contract position
Our client in Waltham MA expects to add one or more user interface professionals to their 23-person team. These contract positions (6 month to 1 year) are full-time and on-site. Candidates interested in part-time may be considered. We are looking for individuals who will complement client's current range of skills, experience and job responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Up-front customer needs assessment
Work closely with product management and marketing to determine customer requirements
Design Telephone User Interface (TUI) flows and prompts
Prototype TUIs and test with users
Work closely with developers to implement designs
Support field trials
To be considered, candidates MUST have:
Experience designing prompts and call flows for IVR/automated telephone systems
Experience with speech recognition issues and technology
Experience in User Interface Design and Usability Testing
Candidates with the following experience will be of particular interest:
Visio, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
Prototyping tools
Voice laboratory equipment and software (e.g., HTML, VoiceXML, Javascript)
Experimental design and data analysis
Advanced Degree in Experimental and/or Cognitive Psychology or IE with Human Factors Option, or equivalent experience
