The Usability Company has an opening for an experienced usability specialist to form part of our growing team. The Usability Company provides usability solutions for a range of clients including Barclays, BSkyB, Camelot, Nokia, RBS and public sector organisations. We work across all digital platforms - Internet, Mobile, iTV and voice. The role is based at our central London location.
The candidate will be expected to design usability research, conduct research, perform analysis and provide actionable recommendations to help our clients develop usable solutions. He/she will also work with account managers to develop proposals and define client solutions.
Requirements:
At least an MSc in HCI or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of commercial usability experience preferably in a consultancy role. Experience in facilitating usability tests is a must.
Ability to communicate effectively with, and deliver to, the demands of FTSE 100 companies
Strong project management skills - the ability to manage a project from beginning to end while ensuring quality standards and timescales are met
Experience with UI prototyping tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A proactive nature is essential
Understanding of accessibility issues and consultancy is desirable
