Responsibilities
Help us develop the product that is revolutionizing Television! TiVo is a leading edge consumer electronics product, which presents unique challenges both because of the customer profile (the product must be usable by anyone, not just the computer literate) and because of the platform (it's about TV, not computers).
TiVo's UI Design goal is to create an interface to a complicated entertainment-computer that presents itself as extremely straightforward, consistent, and simple to use for the wide market of family, in-home use. We work very closely with Customer Support, Product Marketing, and User Research teams to gather information on our products. We have a collaborative, team-oriented, consensus building approach to design, and believe in taking input and feedback from a wide variety of sources.
We are looking for an energetic, multi-talented, and motivated individual to join our UI Design group. We are looking for a User Interface Designer to create the next generation of TiVo products and features.
Responsibilities:
Creating and iterating UI designs, and producing detailed, written specifications for Engineering
Working with Graphic Artists/Prototypers to create screen mockups and functional prototypes of your designs
Working with Usability Research to test and refine
