Referring Electronic Arts's Job EACLi0304001 -- Interface Designer to
you:
Assistant Interface Designer
Prerequisites:
* Front End design problem solving
* A portfolio demonstrating the following is required:
+ Good graphic design core competencies
+ Ability to present complex information in a consistent,
understandable fashion
+ Basic drawing skills
+ Good use of line and light
+ Breadth of artistic styles
+ Ability to work within a style including a style set by
another artist/art director/ Brand Identity
Requirements:
* Ability to take direction
* Ability to take a provided design and complete work within
provided style consistently
* Desire to learn
Understanding:
* Core fundamentals understanding of task as well as light,
form, shadow and color
* Importance of dates/milestones, teamwork and organization
Responsibilities:
* Keep flow trees organized
* Assist more senior Interface artists with low level or basic
layout tasks
* Use image manipulation tools to modify images
* Obtain and verify various assets (licensor logos, sponsor
logos, etc)
* Assists with localization if requested
* Make concerted effort to learn layout tools and various
techniques relevant to Interface building
Professional:
* Remains focused, motivated and effective on all tasks through
completion
* Demonstrates a desire to learn and grow professionally
