Adobe is seeking a creative, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Senior User Interface Designer to join its User Interface Design Team. This person will be focused on developing innovative, future-looking UI designs for Creative Suite applications. The work will include creating solutions to overcome current customer pain points as well as shaping and driving designs on the next generation of user interfaces. The designer will be involved in evangelizing these efforts among fellow designers and across the company with the aim of creating a dramatically improved Adobe user experience. This designer will be responsible for working effectively with the individual product teams and with the UI Team's cross-functional disciplines, which includes User Interface Designers, User Researchers, Visual Designers, and Technical Writers.
Knowledge:
A degree in either Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Psychology, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. Should have at least five years of relevant work experience -- with at least 2 years designing desktop applications. Specific experience with print, web-publishing, page layout, and/or illustration is a plus. This position may be filled at either the "Senior User Interface Designer" or the "User Interface Designer" level based on the candidate's experience.
