Sr Visual Product Designer, Adobe Systems

Adobe is seeking a creative, self-motivated and enthusiastic Senior Visual Product Designer to join its User Interface Design Team. This person will be focused on developing innovative, future looking visual designs for ePaper applications. The work will include creating solutions to overcome current customer pain points as well as shaping and driving designs on the next generation of user interfaces.The designer will be involved in evangelizing these efforts among fellow designers and across the company with the aim of creating a dramatically improved Adobe user experience. This designer will be responsible for working effectively with the individual product teams and with the UI Team's cross-functional disciplines which includes User Interaction Designers, User Researchers, Visual Designers and Technical Writers.
Knowledge:
A degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience is required. 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience -- with at least 3 years designing desktop applications. Expertise with Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator and conventional desktop programs. Experience with print, web publishing, page layout, and/or an illustration application is a plus.
