User Research Specialist, Adobe

Adobe Systems Incorporated is currently seeking a User Research Specialist to work in our San Jose, CA headquarters. You would work closely with product team to identify research needs throughout entire development cycle. Design and implement appropriate research strategies including usability studies, site visits, interviews, card sorts, and heuristic evaluations. Evaluate the usability of feature concepts, workflows, user interaction, and visual designs. Conduct formative research to identify new areas of opportunity for product space. Communicate and advocate for prioritized recommendations to a broad cross-functional team is essential.
Skills required:
MS or PhD in human-computer interaction, psychology (cognitive, experimental, or social), sociology, human factors, or related field. Demonstrated ability in usability, research methodologies, workflow and task analyses, and data collection and analyses.
