My client is a leading digital media consultancy based in London and we are currently looking for a Director of IA to join the team. You will educated to at least degree level, ideally to masters or above in a HCI / Interaction design related subject field, possess a minimum of 7 years project experience, 4 of which must be in an IA / usability area, you will have expert knowledge of user experience and design and be focussed to drive the development of the small but highly skilled IA team. Having worked in the past as an information architect, you will have intimate knowledge of all hands on IA practices and have in the past held a very senior level UE position at an agency environment, consultancy or major blue chip. You should be recognised in the industry as a reputable figure with perhaps a few white papers published on IA subject matter, be extremely client facing with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for the development of approx 5/6 full time IA's and x number of contract information architect (s)
