Information Architect
Innoplex - Interactive Communications
Roswell, GA
Focus:
The Interactive Communications (IC) Information Architect is responsible for leading the creation of a logical and easily navigable interactive user experience, including the user interface, navigational rules, organization of information, site maps and planning as it relates to the customer's experience on UPS.com interactive properties.
Responsibilities:
* Creates all information architecture documentation and deliverables.
* Maintains Global Page System (GPS) spreadsheet for UPS sites(s) and upholds the UPS Information Architecture design standards.
* Collaborates with Creative Services team members on site concepts, interfaces and navigational structures in line with functional requirements and technical infrastructure.
* Works with Interactive Brand Strategists to understand business objectives as cited in PDDs (Project Definition Documents); uses information to scope project effect on a functional design system.
* Works in collaboration with Creative Services, Brand Strategists and Project Sponsors to create site architecture, logic and site flow and contribute to the overall strategic direction of websites.
* Provides input, planning and support for user research and usability test plans.
* Ensures that customer information/task needs are carefully balanced with technical requirements.
* Provides input and support in developing Style Guides as it pertains to site architecture.
* Leads heuristic evaluations of UPS.com Internet properties and best-in-class competitive analysis.
* Provides strategy on optimizing the online brand and business objectives through a compelling user experience.

*Usability Analysis
