There are a broad range of opportunitites for psychology and computer science graduates wishing to study HCI and Cognitive Science in the School of Psychology, Cardiff. Cardiff Psychology is one of the top-rated research department in the UK. HCI research at Cardiff has been supported by UK funding councils and by a range of other businesses and organisations (including NASA; National Health Service; General Dynamics; British Telecommunications plc.). There are also opportunities for collaborative work with the School of Engineering and the Department of Computer Science. Potential students wishing to develop research interests in human-computer interaction, human problem solving, collaborative work environments, the world-wide web, ubiquitous and mobile computing, decision support, reading skills or a related topic are encouraged to contact one of the researchers listed below.
