Applications are invited for a studentship for full-time, three-year funded Ph.D. studentship starting on 1 October 2004. The student will be based at The Open University campus at Walton Hall in Milton Keynes.
Applicants should have obtained, by the start of study, a first class or upper second class degree, and preferably a Masters, in Computing or related discipline.
The Department is undertaking research within a number of themes (AI & natural language processing; empirical studies of software development; human-computer interaction; requirements engineering & design) and priority will be given to applications that address one of our open PhD projects ( http://computing.open.ac.uk/Research/List_PhD_Proposals.cfm
