Overview:
Preparation of System specifications and plans, architectural designs and interface specifications using analytical modelling tools and methods. Preparation of technical material for proposals including the specifications, design and development and test plans Technical liaison with suppliers and subcontractors, to provide technical guidance and exchanges necessary to achieve consolidated and compatible system designs and interfaces. www.bartrams.u-net.com
Prime contract Systems Engineering for navigation projects including specification, design and implementation of various applications including the following:-
Preparation of System specifications and plans, architectural designs and interface specifications using analytical modelling tools and methods.
Preparation of technical material for proposals including the specifications, design and development and test plans
Technical liaison with suppliers and subcontractors, to provide technical guidance and exchanges necessary to achieve consolidated and compatible system designs and interfaces.
Participation in AIV activities.
Preparation of input material for management reporting.
Support to PA, Risk Assessment, RAMS and criticality analysis.
This will require travel within Europe.
Qualifications and/or Skills:
Essential: Numerate honours degree (Engineering, computing, maths or science). Understanding of Systems Engineering processes and methods.
Desirable: Practiced in the use of simulation and modelling tools including TAU, UML, Satellite Tool Kit , OPNET and Netviz, and Mathcad.
Previous Experience:
Essential: 5 years experience in prime contract systems engineering
Desirable: 2 Years in satellite mission systems or Navigation systems.
