Overview:
Global Product Manager, OCLC Resource Sharing
C. Berger Group, Inc. has been retained by the OCLC Online Computer
Library Center to identify and present candidates for this position.
OCLC is a nonprofit, membership, computer library service and research
organization dedicated to the public purpose of furthering access to the
world's information. The Global Product Manager oversees all aspects of
a product / service line to create and deliver superior user
satisfaction; manages all aspects of the service life cycle for OCLC
resource sharing, including strategic planning, service
conceptualization, market research, pricing, and new product
introduction; manages a staff of seven product managers and product
support specialists.
Qualifications: Minimum 5 - 8 years experience managing large products,
including projects and processes in the information industry. Minimum 3
years marketing / sales experience in the information industry.
Ability to think and plan with an appreciation of the global
marketplace. Comprehensive knowledge of the contracting and licensing
processes.
