Overview:
Human Factors Engineering (HFE) Task Leader - Qualified to degree level in a HFE related subject (ie Ergonomics) the successful candidate will have experience in managing a complete HFE project. Experience of the Naval support environment is essential and familiarisation with relevant Defence Standards desirable. The candidate will be seconded to the Aircraft Carrier Team (ACT) operating to manage the HFE aspects of the CVF platform design to MoD set user requirements during the design assessments concerned with the physical design of the vessels including General and Compartment arrangements, traffic flow/routes, workplace & workplace design. Achieved through completion of the following: Management of the HFE aspects of the CVF platform design through the application of HF tools, techniques and standards to ensure HF Integration within the emerging design; Development of appropriate HF policies and procedures to ensure that deliverables generated are to the correct quality standard and are produced on time and to budget; Application of the latest HF guidelines for designers of systems/equipments, General Arrangement, safety critical systems and for any related health and safety issues; Development and assessment of specific CVF HFE design requirements and their cascade into appropriate project documents and specifications.www.jprecruit.com
