Information Architect, Premera Blue Cross

Information Architect (IA): Looking for to add to our group of 4 IAs. Our IAs work on several Internet sites and projects including Premera.com, Lifewisehealth.com, and MicrosoftHealth.com. We're responsible for increasing the usefulness and usability of the sites through information architecture, interaction design, and experience design. We collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, developers, and testers.
Requirements (3+ yrs experience):
* Web site experience organizing content & features, devising navigational schemes, & defining labels.
* Business requirements analysis and documentation experience.
* Strong communication skills, especially with developers, business customers, and business analysts.
* Expertise creating documents such as business requirements, functional specifications, wireframes, and site maps.
* Sensitivity to and appreciation of usability, user centered design, and best practices.
* Leadership and project management ability; self-starter; advocate for user needs.
Preferences/Nice-to-Have's:
* End user research experience (user interviews, card sorts, analytics, etc.).
* Desire to continue learning.

The position is at the Mountlake Terrace campus of Premera Blue Cross.
Mountlake Terrace is 20 miles north of Seattle, WA.
