NHS Systems HL7 Interface / Interfacing Consultant
Technical skills required to successfully carry out this role include XML-based HL7 SOAP development skills, and exceptional experience of interface engines (SeeBeyond eGate/MS BizTalk/NEON/Rhapsody/Quovadx Cloverleaf). With these skills you will be working on the interfacing which centres on process and data mapping.
The interfacing and messaging between the wide variety of disparate systems in use by the NHS is a major challenge for the National Programme (NPfIT). High calibre, professional and dynamic applicants with solid exposure to hospital information systems (PAS, EPR, her, ICRS) and the interfacing of these systems are sought to develop the messaging structures of these departmental systems (Radiology, Order Comms, Pathology, A&E, etc.). Technical skills required to successfully carry out this role include XML-based HL7 SOAP development skills, and exceptional experience of interface engines (SeeBeyond eGate/MS BizTalk/NEON/Rhapsody/Quovadx Cloverleaf). With these skills you will be working on the interfacing which centres on process and data mapping. You will be involved in a highly active and buoyant market sector. The work stretches the NHS in England and you must be willing to travel to client sites.
