Project Officer: e-Learning System for Biological Sciences


You will work with the academic team in the Biology Teaching Organisation to
develop the Biology curriculum in years 1-3 into an e-learning system. Your
main areas of work will be to use the WebCT package to help academics
deliver courses; to develop methods to integrate WebCT with databases in the
University's teaching administrative systems; and to develop new tools to
enhance the learning experience of students.
You will have experience in supporting e-Learning in higher education, of
Unix and Windows systems, and with linking databases. A science degree and
experience of WebCT are essential.


Fixed term: 36 months


Hours: Full-time


Salary scale: £18,893 - £21,010 / £21,852 - £28,279 pa
