Caterpillar Inc. (global heavy equipment and engine manufacturer) Based in Peoria, Illinois
Length: Open-ended contract position
Closing date: June 10, 2004
Seeking candidates for a Usability Analyst contract position to support existing usability team performing usability activities for products such as internally developed software, IT vendor products, e-commerce, e- learning, and intranet web sites. Preferred candidates with 1-3 years of experience in Usability, Human Factors, or B.S. degree in a related field.
Activities include the following:
Assist in performing usability reviews and evaluations (in lab, remote and on-site), as well as other usability engineering activities for development teams.
Assist in defining key user requirements in order to build usability into products and services.
Proven ability in verbal and written communications skills, as well as customer focus.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and apply data to products and processes to improve the user experience.
