User Interface Design Engineer, Consumer electronics

Overview:
The position requirements are as follows:
This position is a permanent position based in the Washington DC area.
This person will define the user interface for home entertainment
applications. This person will help select and interface with outside
vendors such as graphics design firms. This person should have a strong
cognitive psychology/human factors background and relevant professional
experience.
Responsibilities
Help define the user experience through translation of product features and
functionality
Develop storyboards, scenarios, and wireframes to describe user interface
design
Interface with customers, marketing, and software developers
Education
Bachelor's degree in cognitive psychology, computer science or design
related field
Skills
Interaction design and information architecture
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Mature, self-motivated and able to work well in a group environment
Experience
Minimum 6 years professional experience in interaction and graphics design
for electronic media
Desirable Qualifications
Master's degree in cognitive psychology or related field
User interface design for TV applications
Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Powerpoint, HTML for prototyping
