This Monster UX Engineering position is based in Monster's headquarters in Maynard, Massachusetts.
The UX Communications Manager is responsible for:
In this key position you will act as a liaison between the User Experience team and our partners in Product, Marketing, Strategy, Sales, Service, etc. The User Experience Communications Manager is responsible for planning, implementation and measuring of Monster site generated communications including, but not limited to email, advertising units, newsletters, site tours, and online promotions/retention programs. The Communications Manager assists in the management of workflow and plays a crucial role in the management of projects. The Communications Manager will also assist with vendor and hardware/software selection and management.
Creating, updating, and distributing project plans and timelines
Managing the routing and approval process
Maintaining status and priority schedules for distribution to UX Teams
Tracking and optimizing progression of projects with our partners in Product, Marketing, etc
Routing work in and out of legal/QA
Deliverables:
Work with our partners to determine communication plan including objectives, goals, distribution, testing, target audience, delivery channels, success benchmarks, metrics
Work with partners and UX Directors to help determine appropriate messaging and positioning for email and online consumer and employer communications, communicate to team
Assist in assignment of project codes and preparation of projects for release
Maintaining archive and executing correspondence
Assist with writing, testing, proofing
Set deadlines and timelines, create project briefs, maintain schedules
Work with Implementation and Communication Team to write and coordinate the employer/consumer communications on site
Work with key groups to determine, analyze, and understand communication test results and provide info and direction to UX Team based on results metrics
Report generation and design
Proactive daily analysis of projects and workflow
Technical Skills:
2-5 years experience in Interactive Marketing Project/Program management
Deep understanding of web interface strategies for E-comm, membership, conversion, online account management
Knowledge of the following tools: Microsoft Office, Visio, Project
Knowledge of web technologies/standards, including: WebTrends, DoubleClick, Ad tagging, rich media, IAB, click-stream analysis, etc.
Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform development
Additional Qualifications:
Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment
Ability to handle several projects simultaneously
Experience working with technical, design, and editorial teams
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ease in public presentation
