Overview:
Superb opportunity to be the Accessibility guru for one of the worlds
leading Internet companies. You will be tasked with championing Accessibility
throughout the organisation, securing buy-in form staff and managers at
all levels to develop a consensus action plan. You will have experience
managing significant multi-disciplinary projects to time and resource
constraints, have 1st class influencing skills and be equally as comfortable with
technical, commercial, legal, user experience and management viewpoints
and sensitivities.
Knowledge of W3C and other relevant Accessibility initiatives and
organisations is essential, as is knowledge of assistive technologies used by
people with disabilities to access the web and software. You will have the
ability to take initiative and to identify and propose new tasks and
procedures and the ability to transfer this knowledge to others.
This opportunity is huge, its your baby, if all goes well my client will
look at extending the contract or turning the position into a permanent
one.
Salary c?50K on a pro rata basis.....
