Centralis is currently accepting resumes for future contract positions for
our user research & usability practice.
About Centralis
Centralis is a user experience research and design consultancy. We help
our clients succeed by making their products, web sites and other
applications easier and more rewarding to use. Our services include
usability testing, user needs analysis and interface design. We’re a
boutique firm that prides itself on producing the highest quality user
research and user-centered design, with an emphasis on exemplary client
service. Headquartered in Evanston, IL, Centralis serves clients
throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Responsibilities
- Plan research initiatives, including both methodological and
administrative aspects
- Moderate usability tests and other research sessions
- Analyze and report findings in written and verbal format
- Provide excellent client service
- Some travel may be required
Qualifications
- Minimum BA/BA degree in a social science, computer science or human
factors-related field; MA/MS preferred
- 1 to 3 years’ usability-related experience in a corporate, consulting or
academic environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Prior experience with usability testing required
- Prior experience with additional research methodologies such as field
studies or focus groups desirable
- Ability to flexibly handle multiple projects and initiatives
