What We're Looking For...
This position will be responsible for participating in the planning and conduct of cognitive tasks analyses, developing executable cognitive models using CHI Systems' commercial cognitive modeling toolkit, iGEN, and documenting and demonstrating cognitive models. Other duties include the
following:
·Assist in report/proposal preparation, documentation and effective demonstration/presentation of project deliverables for clients.
·Assist in the authoring of project-related academic or trade publications.
·React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
·Maintain current knowledge of technical literature and technology developments in the field of cognitive engineering.
The ideal candidate will possess good communication and analytic skills, an ability to produce clear and effective technical presentations, and an eagerness to learn and use new methods, techniques, and computer-based tools quickly, ability to document technical progress clearly in writing, ability to convey technical issues and progress verbally, ability to interact effectively with co-workers and subject matter experts. Fourth-generation language programming experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with cognitive task analysis, cognitive simulation, and cognitive modeling are desired. Interest in artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering, agent technology, or blackboard systems a plus.
Education BS/BA or higher in cognitive science, psychology, artificial intelligence, computer science, information systems or related field required.
