Job Title: Senior User Interface Designer
Responsibilities:
* Lead overall interface design efforts
* Create low and high-fidelity UI prototypes of new products and
features. Work collaboratively with product management and others to
review and iterate designs.
* Lead effort to design a UI applicaton framework
* Establish, enforce and follow consistent standards for interaction
and look-and-feel.
* Partner with product management to influence long-term UI design
direction.
Required Skills:
* Minimum 3 years experience designing user interfaces for web-based
applications. Ideal candidate has experience designing both consumer
software and enterprise applications.
* Experience designing for increased user adoption is a big plus.
* Expertise with web-development technologies and tools (e.g. HTML,
CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, FrontPage, Flash).
* Keen eye for consistency; fanatical drive for simplicity.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with
technical writing a plus.
* User research and usability experience a plus.
* Visual design skills a plus.
* Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer
Interaction, Cognitive Science, or related field, or equivalent
experience.
* Ability to thrive in a start-up environment, meet ambitious
deadlines, manage priorities from multiple project teams, and deliver
high-quality work on schedule.
Note: This is not an engineering position. We are looking for a user
interation designer and not user interface engineers/developers.
