Title: Usability Program Lead/Manager
Description:
You will lead and manage all aspects of salesforce.com’s usability program
and work closely with product management, product development, and other
internal organizations throughout the development cycle. You will create
usability plans, organize/conduct usability studies and focus groups,
recruit study participants, develop detailed evaluation priorities and
tasks, and oversee periodic usability tests conducted by third-party
vendors. You will convert study findings into actionable items, present
results back to the product team, and drive product/design decisions based
on usability studies. Additionally, you will also be responsible for
managing the usability lab, including researching and recommending new
tools and equipment. Other responsibilities will include: competitive
usability evaluations; researching and evangelizing usability best
practices; proposing new user research methods; and coordinating the
integration of application usage metrics and usability data.
Required Skills:
·3-5 years experience in designing, conducting and analyzing usability
evaluations and user research
·A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or equivalent
preferred
·Strong knowledge of usability methods
·Independent self-starter and extremely detail-oriented
·Strong project management skills
·Work well in a fast-paced team environment with iterative design process
