DEPARTMENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA HARROW SCHOOL OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Interactive Multimedia is seeking visiting (part time) lecturers to assist with the teaching of modules in the areas of Human Computer Interaction.
The AI department currently supports undergraduate (BSc) courses in Artificial Intelligence, Cognitive Science, and Multimedia Computing and Postgraduate (MSc) courses in Intelligent and Multiagent Systems, Bioinformatics, Biometrics and Interactive Multimedia. The department also includes very active research groups Cognitive Science, Computer Vision and Virtual Reality and Multimedia.
The visiting lecturers will be expected to contribute in the delivery of the undergraduate programme in Human Computer Interaction addressing issues of user understanding, HCI design and User-centred design techniques.
The post is temporary for one semester (part-time) and applicants for this post must possess postgraduate qualifications in a related area and teaching experience. The contract will be paid on an hourly rate per contact hour and all suitable candidates will be invited to an interview.
