Graphic Designer | Media Developer, Insight Product Development - Chicago
Insight is currently seeking a multi-talented individual who can design stunning graphics for web, print, and products, as well as create captivating interactive content for web sites and interface usability testing. This extraordinary person must be a top-notch graphic designer who is equally savvy at coding web sites and interactive media.
Responsibilities
• Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes of products in Flash or Director for usability testing
• Develop icons, illustrations, and graphics in collaboration with industrial designers and interface designers
• Create screen or page layouts for software, web sites, and other media
• Support Insight public relations and marketing initiatives by creating graphics and communication tools
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have at least 3 years experience in interactive media design and development and possess the following characteristics:
• Exceptional graphic design talents
• Mastery of Flash, Shockwave, and HTML
• Experience with browser and server scripting (DHTML, VBScript, SQL, PHP)
• Command of design tools including Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign
• Motion graphics skills are a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
