Position 2 - Senior Design Researcher
**************************************************************
The Chicago office of Avenue A | Razorfish has immediate openings for
senior design researchers. We have contract and permanent openings.
As a member of our User Experience community, you will work with
multidisciplinary teams to create smart, innovative solutions for our
clients. Your responsibilities will include:
X Understanding target audiences!& needs and other motivating factors
that drive behavior, and developing key insights and frameworks to help
design teams and clients understand those needs and behaviors
X Helping to translate insights into concepts for compelling interactions
and experiences
X Developing POVs around specific user groups and in specific industries
based on ongoing research work
X Consulting to project teams on user insights and behaviors relative to
their projects
Qualifications
X Degree in a related field, such as human-computer interaction, product
design, interaction design, anthropology, social sciences, or equivalent
experience
X 4+ years research experience
X Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following research
methods: ethnographic research, usability testing, participatory design,
focus groups, surveys, expert evaluation, or web data analytics (e.g.,
conversion analysis)
X 2+ years business development experience
X Strong client relationship skills
X Strong team collaboration and facilitation skills
X Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
X Experience in a client services environment
X Willingness to travel
