Position 1 - Senior Information Architect/Interaction Designer

The Chicago office of Avenue A | Razorfish has immediate openings for senior information architect/interaction designers. We have contract and permanent openings.
As a member of our User Experience community, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to create smart, innovative solutions for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
X Understanding target audiences!& needs and other motivating factors and translate them into concepts for compelling interactions and experiences X Collaboratively developing scenarios, navigation models, and prototypes that demonstrate these concepts X Developing detailed information architectures and interaction designs that support marketing strategy, brand strategy, and desired user behaviors, and documenting those designs through site maps, workflows, wireframes, and functional specs X Leading and/or participating in immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing
Qualifications
X Degree in a related field, such as human-computer interaction, visual design, product design, interaction design, or technical communication X 4+ years experience developing interactive products X Demonstrated expertise in consumer or B2B eCommerce, software application interfaces, and/or interactive marketing !V must include creating transaction-oriented interfaces X Demonstrated ability to work with templates and content management systems X Demonstrated experience leading and/or observing user research and usability testing and in translating results into design decisions X Demonstrated ability to document designs in scenarios, workflows, site architectures, and page template/wireframe formats. Use case and functional requirements development preferred X 2+ years business development experience X Strong user-centered design orientation X Strong team collaboration and facilitation skills X Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills X Experience in a client services environment X Willingness to travel
