Visual Designers, Sliced Bread Design

We are looking for a couple folks who have expertise in visual design for web and desktop applications to do some contracting work for us.
Specifically, we have two projects in mind:
(1) One of our clients would like to redesign the visuals of their web application and would like someone to work in house for 4 weeks to develop a color palette, visual style guide, and associated assets (i.e. buttons, icons, etc). They currently have an in-house interaction designer and are also working with us on some interaction design work for their product so this would be primarily a visual design position (with an eye for usability but not the primary focus). The company is in San Francisco and the project would start within the next couple weeks.
(2) Another client (a well known company) is creating a new consumer desktop application that also needs visual design work. We recently completing the interaction design work for this product and have thoroughly user tested it so this would also purely be a visual design opportunity. This project would involve a lot of client meetings since it is a brand new application on a new platform so the ideal designer would have to meet at the client offices in Mountain View, CA on a regular basis.
