DESCRIPTION::
Eastman Kodak Corporate Design and Usability seeks a highly talented Visual Interaction Designer to join the New Media Design Group. Qualified candidates must demonstrate knowledge of interactive authoring techniques, user centered design methodologies and a desire to innovate. This position requires a strong focus on user interface design and the user experience. Visual Interaction Designers are expected to contribute as a part of a multidisciplinary team on many high profile consumer products that can & will include desktop software, touch screen kiosks, web applications and handheld devices.
Requirements:
• BFA or higher degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design or related fields
• A minimum of 4 years professional experience designing and developing interactive media and UI design OR a substantial portfolio demonstrating such skills
• Advanced knowledge of Flash (ActionScript) and/or Director (Lingo)
• Strong graphic design and illustration skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with a team focus
• 3D, motion graphics and video production knowledge would be an additional benefit
