Professor of Industrial Design
The Savannah College of Art and Design seeks qualified candidates for a full-time faculty position in the Industrial Design department. Successful candidates will have a terminal degree in Industrial Design (M.F.A., M.I.D.
or M.S.) in addition to 6-10 years experience in the Industrial Design field. Qualified candidates will have excellent sketching and visualization capabilities, a strong understanding of prototyping and construction, an understanding of user centered design, and be proficient in Alias software.
Additionally, candidates will have a primary area of focus in teaching sketching and product visualization skills using the support of computers.
The Industrial Design department at the Savannah College of Art and Design is made up of energetic, highly motivated and focused individuals. The ideal candidate will share this energy and passion for both design and education.
