CheckFree, which offers online bill payment, isn't located in a typical office building in the suburbs. The company's campus, just outside of Atlanta, is located on a 50-acre setting with the feel of a nature preserve, complete with running trails and the occasional deer sighting.
One of its unique features is Club Hooch, an employee lounge overlooking the Chattahoochee River and other CheckFree facilities, like a hot tub.
Other amenities of the campus include a full service hotel, fitness facility and bowling alley. For sports fanatics, you couldn't ask for more, as the campus even has a racquetball court and an indoor basketball court, with an electronic scoreboard. As for food, meals are subsidized, with breakfast and lunch for $2 per day.
SR. USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a User Experience Designer in the Norcross office, this individual will work as a senior member of a team to perform conceptual and visual design tasks for new features and functions for web-based applications. Related tasks include developing visual design comps, graphical assets, use case scenarios, site maps, flow diagrams, and wireframes; collaborating with several functional areas to ensure the integrity of the design and the translation of wireframes into a functioning, visually pleasing product; and participating in the preparation, facilitation, and results analysis of usability tests. Additional responsibilities include providing input to Product Management for business objectives and user research, and mentoring other designers.
SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:
·Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Usability Engineering, or UI Design of Web-based applications.
·Strong understanding of user-centered design.
·Strong visual design skills, including experience creating visual comps.
·Strong organizational, listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
·Experience generating concepts and making iterative changes through usability testing.
·Experience with Section 508, Level 2 compliance a plus.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SDLC a plus.
·Familiarity with industry tools for generating flow diagrams, wireframes, specifications, visual comps, and prototypes (Visio, Fireworks, Photoshop) ..
·Bachelor?s degree, Master?s degree, or certificate in human factors or related discipline preferred.
