The Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applicants for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position beginning August 2005 in one of the following areas: decision sciences/operations research, health systems engineering, human factors and ergonomics, or manufacturing and productions systems. Candidates should have evidence of performance or strong potential to establish and maintain a high quality program of research in Industrial Engineering, and evidence of performance and/or capability and commitment to teaching and mentoring of IE students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. A Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or related to the areas of interest listed above is required.
