Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Centre for Usable Home Technology

Inclusive design seeks to develop and disseminate approaches to product and service design, which enable independence at home and access to work for the whole population. You will work with Professor Andrew Monk at York University, and collaborators at Cambridge University, Dundee University and the Royal College of Art, to develop design case studies of good practice with industrial partners.
You should have a further degree and research experience in: Design; Human Factors, or Human-Computer Interaction. Knowledge of accessibility issues and experience of working with older people and people with disabilities would be an advantage.
