Responsibilities:
The Principal UI Designer will work collaboratively in multiple cross-functional teams with visual designers, user researchers, engineering, product management, marketing, and senior management. S/he will be involved in decisions concerning the product offerings and will be responsible for product design throughout the product life cycle. As a Senior Designer, s/he will be responsible for developing and refining design concepts, producing prototypes for evaluation and communication, developing design specifications, and advocating the designs through the implementation process. The Senior UI Designer will be responsible for designing web and desktop applications.
Qualifications:
* Minimum education of MS in Design, Human Factors, CS , similar degree,
or equivalent experience
* Demonstrable design skills in both web and desktop applications
* Demonstrable working skills with prototyping tools such as Dreamweaver,
Director, or Visual Basic
* Expert knowledge of common UI design principles.
* Working knowledge of product life cycle process
* Demonstrates strong interpersonal and team skills
