Bank of America’s Risk Management User Xperience Team in New York is currently seeking an Information Architect to:
· Develop approaches to the categorization and hierarchical structuring of content and content types · Define and describe the information relationships and navigation models at the portal, application, and module levels · Develop usable navigational schemas from complex taxonomies · Work with/aid in the development of Use Cases, Functional and Strategic Requirements · Develop Wireframes, Site Maps and Process-Flow diagrams · Develop personas · Develop/prototype user interaction methods and navigational concepts · Generate mockups and prototypes using a variety of media · Develop user interaction specifications · Collaborate with all project team members (e.g., business analysts, visual designers, and programmers) · Update and maintain style library using Cascading Style Sheets · Integrate UI code with a variety of Application Platforms and Languages (Java, JSP, XML, PHP, ASP, XSLT/X-Path, SSI, etc.)
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience designing web-based solutions · Minimum of 1 to 2 years UI programming, with deep experience in HTML, Javascript, CSS, DHTML. Must have ability to hand-code · Expert wireframe prototyping skills · Strong web portfolio including UI for web-based applications
Nice to have:
· Large-scale web portal (Epicentric) and/or intranet projects · OLAP and reporting/business intelligence tool experience (Microstrategy) · Financial products experience · Deep knowledge of current state of web application capabilities / limitations · Strong information design sense · Experience in usability testing
