The Work
* We impact the total user experience for Sprint’s products and services. In most cases, we create it.
* From ideation to production, we participate in all stages of product development for voice, data, web, print, software, and hardware.
* We conduct research up front and along the way to guide, challenge, and verify our decisions.
The Position
* Plan, execute, and manage user-centered research in support of the product development and the product’s life-cycle. A working knowledge with a variety of research methods is needed including, but not limited to, Voice-of-the-Customer (VOC); survey and sampling methods; product trials; ethnographic interviewing, observation, and focus groups.
* Participate on User-Centered Design (UCD) teams to identify end-user needs, product consumption process, and product functionality. Ensure research findings are accurately captured by design objectives. Coordinate testing of product/service designs against design criteria to identify points of departure.
* Utilize your knowledge and experience with advanced experimental design methods (incomplete block, partial incomplete block, RSM, lattice, etc.) and advanced statistical analyses (GLM, multivariate, nonparametric, etc.) to enhance our decision-making.
* Create behavioral models that predict field data from lab data, isolate salient components of the usability construct, and relate financial indices to usability outcomes.

* Enjoy using analytic skills to find multiple solutions to a problem.
* Have advanced quantitative data analysis and statistical model building skills, and an appreciation for qualitative methods.
* Will contribute to a team effort; lone wolves need not apply.
* At a minimum have a Master’s degree in a behavioral science, at least four years conducting research; two years specific to hi-tech products. Product development and process research, psychometrics, or financial ROI modeling experiences are a plus. Ph.D. or ABD preferred.
* Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
