* We are a diverse team of designers and researchers who affect the way over 20 million people communicate every day.

The Work

* We impact the total user experience for Sprint’s products and services. In most cases, we create it.

* From ideation to production, we participate in all stages of product development for voice, data, web, print, software, and hardware.

* We conduct research up front and along the way to guide, challenge, and verify our decisions.

The Position

* Plan, execute, and manage user-centered research in support of the product development and the product’s life-cycle. A working knowledge with a variety of research methods is needed including, but not limited to, Voice-of-the-Customer (VOC); survey and sampling methods; product trials; ethnographic interviewing, observation, and focus groups.

* Participate on User-Centered Design (UCD) teams to identify end-user needs, product consumption process, and product functionality. Ensure research findings are accurately captured by design objectives. Coordinate testing of product/service designs against design criteria to identify points of departure.

* Utilize your knowledge and experience with advanced experimental design methods (incomplete block, partial incomplete block, RSM, lattice, etc.) and advanced statistical analyses (GLM, multivariate, nonparametric, etc.) to enhance our decision-making.

* Create behavioral models that predict field data from lab data, isolate salient components of the usability construct, and relate financial indices to usability outcomes.

The Fit

We seek people who...

* Enjoy using analytic skills to find multiple solutions to a problem.

* Have advanced quantitative data analysis and statistical model building skills, and an appreciation for qualitative methods.

* Will contribute to a team effort; lone wolves need not apply.

* Have excellent oral and written communication skills.

The Deal

* Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a relocation package.

* Opportunities for stock options, discounted stock purchase plans, and annual cash bonuses.

* An industry ripe with innovation potential.

* Life among the fountains, hills, and trees of Kansas City.

* The chance to affect the future of millions of people.
