The Cognitive Engineering Research Group (CERG) at UQ investigates human-system interaction in healthcare and other safety-critical systems.
In the role of CERG Research Associate on this ARC-funded research, you will work closely with behavioural scientists and medical practitioners investigating advanced auditory and visual displays. You will run investigations in our well-equipped laboratory and in hospital simulator environments, and you will supervise others doing so.
Postgraduate research qualifications in human factors or cognitive psychology are important. In addition, you should have good experience with designing, conducting and analysing complex behavioural experiments.
This is a fixed-term, three-year appointment at Academic Research Level A.
The remuneration package will be in the range of AUD$52,929.91 to
AUD$64,466.06 per annum, including employer superannuation contributions of 17%. Appointment fractions from 70% to100% time can be considered.
