UsabilityOne (www.UsabilityOne.com) is a fast-growing usability consultancy leading the way in providing research and usability solutions across all new techology from websites, web-based applications, software and consumer electronics.
Due to our continued success we have an opening for a Usability Consultant for an initial 3-month contract, but we will look to offer the successful candidate a permanent position as the company grows.
Responsibilities:
To design usability research solutions to meet the various needs of our clients.
To conduct research in a lab based environment, on client site or through expert reviews.
To perform analysis of research findings and communicate this analysis via reports / presentations.
To work with account managers to develop proposals and define client solutions.
To contribute to the development of a growing team of usability consultants.
To deliver real client satisfaction.
Requirements:
A thorough understanding of usability techniques and how to apply them.
A genuine belief in, and passion for, usability and the value it delivers.
Experience in the range of usability activities (from user needs analysis, usability testing, card sorting and accessibility)
All levels of usability experience will be considered
Strong facilitation skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
An outgoing and confident personality
