The Information School of the University of Washington continues to engage in a major transformation and expansion including a mid-career Masters degree in Information Management (started in 2001), which will be expanding to include a full-time day program in Fall, 2005. The University of Washington is committed to being one of the top information schools in the world, and as part of this effort we are seeking two outstanding individuals to join the exceptional interdisciplinary faculty at the Assistant and Associate or Full-Professor level. These new colleagues will join a faculty eager to participate in a broad-based, inclusive information school with academic programs at the bachelors, masters and doctoral levels. Faculty in the Information School teach across all programs.
Information Management Faculty Positions

Faculty in the Information School teach across all programs.
The Information Management positions require expertise in and a strong commitment to research and teaching excellence in one or more of the following areas: management of information organizations, knowledge management, knowledge organization, project management, strategic planning and evaluation of information systems, management of information technology and innovation, management information systems or systems analysis and design. Evidence of leadership in research, mentoring of junior colleagues (required for senior faculty opening only), professional service, and programmatic issues is desirable. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree by date of appointment.
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Selected candidates will be invited for campus visits.
